A wordless picture book about how simple acts of kindness can make a difference. It addresses the topics of being the new kid, bullying and stepping up instead of being a bystander.
Each Kindness by Jacqueline Woodson
A powerful story about the absence of acts of kindness. Chloe turns away from the new girl, Maya, even when Maya tries to befriend her. One day Maya is gone and Chloe realizes that she could have been kinder to her.

The Jelly Donut Difference by Maria Dismondy
Siblings, Leah and Dexter, don’t always get along. When they notice that their neighbor is lonely, the work together to make her feel better. A good example of how a simple act of kindness can help others.
Fill a Bucket by Carol McCloud
A wonderful guide for teaching kindness, emotions and how our actions affect others. The book provides a great visual representation of how being nice to others helps them and makes you feel good too.
