★ Teacher Guide
This interactive read aloud for Recess at 20 Below includes a teacher’s guide that outlines the compare and contrast lesson. It provides an introduction to help prepare your students for their learning and set a purpose for the read aloud. It also includes important vocabulary words and the strands that the lesson covers.
★ Anchor Chart
The compare and contrast anchor chart is a great reference for teaching students the reading strategy. The chart can be printed as is or it can be an interactive anchor chart that you create with your students while reading the book.
