✩ Anchor Chart
The lesson includes an anchor chart that directly connects to both the picture book and the skill being taught in the lesson. The anchor chart can be printed out or can be used as a guide for you to re-create it with your students.

✩ Student Response
The interactive read aloud also comes with a written response and an activity to help your students connect with the text and build their knowledge of the social skill. There are multiple response sheets that allow for differentiation. An answer key is also provided for your reference.
✩ Craftivity/Game
The craftivity or game provides a hands-on, engaging component to help students practice the skill. It helps connect the focus to the picture book and to students’ lives.
✩ Task Cards
The task cards can be used a fe different ways. The cards could be used orally as a whole class discussion or in small groups. Students could also respond to the task cards individually on the recording sheet that is included.
