★ Teacher Guide

This interactive read aloud for The Thing About Spring includes a teacher’s guide that outlines the point of view lesson. The point of view anchor chart  is a great reference for students.  The chart can be printed as is or it can be an interactive anchor chart that you create with your students while reading the book.

There are higher level thinking questions and talking points to prompt student discussion. Each one has a page number so that you know exactly where in the story to stop!

These will guide students to deepen their understanding on how to summarize and respond in meaningful ways. These questions can be printed out on a one page guide or on sticky notes, which will allow you to place them right in the book!
